Role

UI/UX Designer

Core department: Design
Career level: To be confirmed

Role purpose

Create clear, usable, conversion-aware digital experiences that solve real user and business problems and can be implemented effectively by the development team.

Core success outcomes

  1. Design quality — interfaces are visually clear, consistent, polished, and appropriate to the product or brand.
  2. UX thinking — design decisions reflect user needs, task flow, information hierarchy, usability, and business goals rather than aesthetics alone.
  3. Conversion awareness — relevant experiences consider clarity, trust, friction, calls to action, and measurable user outcomes.
  4. Developer handoff — designs, states, responsive behavior, assets, and specifications are complete enough for efficient implementation.
  5. Design systems discipline — reusable patterns and components are applied consistently and improved when needed.
  6. Iteration quality — feedback, user insight, business context, and implementation constraints are incorporated constructively without losing design intent.

Observable evidence

Evidence may include design quality, reduced handoff ambiguity, usability improvements, client or stakeholder feedback, developer rework levels, design-system contributions, conversion-related improvements, and successful launches.

Role Excellence standard

Exceptional performance means Silvia consistently produces thoughtful, high-quality experiences, improves usability and conversion outcomes, strengthens reusable design systems, and makes implementation easier through excellent handoff and collaboration.

Effective performance means design work meets agreed requirements, demonstrates sound UX judgment, is implementation-ready, and responds appropriately to feedback and constraints.

Needs Improvement applies when designs are visually or functionally inconsistent, UX rationale is weak, handoff creates avoidable rework, responsive or interaction states are incomplete, or recurring feedback is not incorporated.

Monthly Role Excellence review

Role Excellence should be scored from documented monthly evidence against the outcomes above, not from general impressions. The universal five-level rating scale in the KPI framework applies.
